How do I get started?
Apply with Shift, pick up or set up your recording gear if approved, download the app, and follow the recording and payout setup steps.
Do I set my own schedule?
Yes. You choose whether, when, and how often to accept available recording opportunities. Shift does not guarantee minimum opportunities or earnings.
What should I film?
Record eligible tasks shown in the app or otherwise approved by Shift. Keep the task, hands, and work area clear while avoiding faces, bystanders, personal information, and sensitive content.
When do I get paid?
Approved submissions are paid weekly through Shift. Only accepted uploads are eligible for payment unless your Shift terms say otherwise.
How is my data protected?
Shift uses privacy and security safeguards, including review controls and tools that help blur faces or personal information. Follow the app instructions to avoid capturing private content.
Can I stop participating?
Yes. There is no lock-in. You can take on as many or as few opportunities as you want and stop participating at any time.
